A review of the European genera of Trichogrammatidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea)

After the presentation of the general characters of the family and the nomenclature used in its taxonomy, the author reviewed the 31 genera of Trichogrammatidae recorded in Europe and provided a key for their identification. For each genus, a short diagnosis is given with illustrations and notes on distribution, diversity, and hosts. The classification of the family is discussed.
